Ideology

Ideology is ideas behind a media text, the secret agenda of its producers.  It is important to be able to identify the different ideological discourses that may be present in even an apparently simple photograph.

In my Magazine for Deyes High magazine i plan to use a different amount of ideologies here is a couple of examples I have come up with already.

1) "Deyes High has a safe working environment" I am going to show this in the magazine by having different picture of the school grounds showing that the children are in safe surroundings and that they are safe, and also get pictures of the school being updated.

2) "The staff go above and beyond" I will get pictures of different teachers helping and supporting the students, will also get statements from pupils in the lessons about the different staff and how it helps their education.

3)"Deyes High school cares about its pupils and staff" Will collect different pictures of how the school care for its students and staff show the mentor base and the nurses office.

4) "Deyes High is on of the most high academic achieving schools in sefton"  i will collect pictures of the different GCSE results and the statistics and compare from years before and this will be used to show parents how successful they are and also get a statement from different subjects and they will explain their results for their subject and also get a statement from the head on the results
